Hi, I’m Katie, a 23-year-old creative with a passion for telling authentic stories through filmmaking. Although I have been obsessed with cameras from a young age, capturing everything from music festivals to travel documentaries, I never imagined I'd be creating wedding films!
In 2024 I unexpectedly shot my first wedding and instantly knew this was something special. But I wanted to do it differently. The slow pace, dramatic tone, and overly formal atmosphere had initially put me off. I knew I wanted my films to be fresh, yet timeless and nostalgic. A film that doesn't just document your day; a film that shows emotion and connection, and most importantly, is true to you.
Because in 30 years, you’ll want to relive your big day, with old friends, new friends, and new generations. And being able to do that? That’s priceless!
MY APPROACH
I’m all about capturing your day as it happens, without setting up or staging things. My style is documentary - it’s authentic and effortless. You get to enjoy your wedding like you are meant to, and your wedding film will beautifully reflect the true story of your big day.
If the thought of being in front of the camera makes you uncomfortable, I completely understand! Most people (myself included) don't naturally love having cameras pointed their way. My relaxed and unobtrusive approach helps you forget I'm even there with my camera, creating a comfortable atmosphere where natural moments can unfold. Think of me as a fly on the wall!
